THE MOMENTUM BUILDING PROCESS

  1. Know your company’s purpose, its mission, the reason your business exists.
  2. Commit to the big goal, your companies vision.
  3. Define the culture under which your company will operate.
  4. Identify the parts of the business that make up the business
  5. Be aware of the current state of each part of the business
  6. Commit to the desired state of each part that makes up the business.
  7. Identify a couple actions and changes needed to move from the current state to the desired state for each part of the business.
  8. Take action and be aware of the progress made from the current state to the desired state.
  9. Identify further actions to be taken to move even closer to the vision.
  10. Note the increase in energy confidence, trust, motivation and momentum as your well thought out actions move you closer toward your stated vision.

STEP TWO

Strategic Plan

Host 1st Strategic Plan within 4 weeks of interviews, 2-day meeting off site venue.

Review or establish Mission Statement, Vision Statement, Culture Statement

SWOT Analysis

Yearly follow up Strategic Plan

STEP THREE

Action Plan (s)

Creation of Action Plan for departments and team during Strategic Planning.

Training Session on Action Plan during Strategic Planning Weekly monitoring and support of Business’ Action Plan as needed.

Identify list of items to track weekly/ monthly. (Strategic objectives/ initiatives)

Review Operational Standards and Revise where needed

Daily:

  • Accessible throughout the month for sounding board, feedback, unbiased opinion for any team member

Weekly:

  • Attend appropriate weekly staff meetings (remotely if appropriate). (2-4 mthly)
  • Review action plans.

Monthly Actions:

  • Monthly Recap Meeting for specific Strategic Objectives and initiatives from Strategic Plan
  • Review of baseline operational standards and measurable items.
  • Discuss Team Empowerment, health of culture, accountability, and incremental improvement.
  • Big picture ideas.

Quarterly Actions:

  • Review movement of baseline items where possible.
  • Leadership discussion
  • Vision and accountability

Yearly Actions:

  • Year-end sit down. Review next years budget
  • Facilitate Yearly Strategic Plan
